Perceptive Content Post-Upgrade Commands (intool and inUpgradeUtil)
The intool and inUpgradeUtil commands we run after every Perceptive Content upgrade to update queues, views, templates, OSM, workflow, users, and privileges. Includes the full command list, placeholders, examples, and a batch file version.

pause
Installed on the C: drive in inserver, upgrading from 7.4. Only the first three lines and the last command change:
C:
cd \
cd inserver\bin64
...
inUpgradeUtil upgrade-privs --from 7.4
pause
Running it as a batch file
To run everything at once, paste the commands into Notepad with your values filled in and save the file as PostUpgrade.bat. Right-click it and choose Run as administrator. The pause at the end keeps the window open so you can review the output before it closes.
Notes
- The install drive and folder vary by client. Confirm where bin64 lives before you run anything.
- Run the commands in the order listed.
upgrade-privs --fromhas to match the version the client is upgrading from, not the one they’re upgrading to.- Read the output of each command. If one throws an error, resolve it before you move on.
- Repeat on each environment you upgrade (test, prod, and so on).
