New AP Product Features
Ability to Have Searches for Custom GL Lines
Clients can now request custom General Ledger (GL) columns that support data lookups. In the past, only standard GL columns were equipped with this functionality. This enhancement enables a more tailored experience, allowing users to effortlessly populate line values from master data. If you are interested in implementing this new feature, please reach out to your SaaS support team.
Improvements to Credit PO Lines
We have enhanced the Credit Invoice functionality, allowing users to add lines to invoices based on the Credit PO Number. Clients who have the Credit PO Number field will now find that their line lookup is automatically populated with relevant lines from the master data that correspond to their Credit PO Number and Company number. This improvement simplifies the line creation process, making it more efficient for users.
Ability to See CC'd Recipients On Supporting Document Emails
In all emails that are captured and attached as supporting documentation, the header of the PDF will now display any recipients who were CC'd. This enhancement improves transparency regarding the individuals who received invoice communications.
New Packing Slip Feature
Enhanced Classification for Packing Slips
We have enhanced our Packing Slip Classification solution, allowing for greater customization in how packing slips are categorized. The system utilizes various extracted criteria, such as PO Number, Vendor Name, and First Page, to efficiently divide a batch of packing slips into separate documents. With this update, clients can now adjust the weighting of these criteria or even exclude some altogether to achieve optimal results. Platform Updates
Bug Fix - Filtering in Views
A reported issue involved certain fields not filtering numerical values correctly. This problem occurred specifically when users employed the "contains" operation while multiple decimal values were present. For example, a search for "1.0" would incorrectly return results ranging from 1.0 to 1.9. We have now resolved this issue to enhance filtering accuracy.
Bug Fix - Large Email Files
A problem was identified where very large email files were unable to be processed and did not correctly route to the error folder. We have addressed this issue to enhance the handling of such files. Now, if an email file fails to process, it will be appropriately directed to the error folder as intended.
Bug Fix - Review GL Modal Saving
The team identified an issue with the Review GL Lines pop-up. When users added lines and then closed the window using the "x" icon, some fields were not saving correctly. To address this, we have removed the "x" icon from the top right of the pop-up. Users are now encouraged to use the blue "close" button, which ensures that all data is saved properly. This change is essential because the modal saves changes in real time, making it crucial for users to follow the correct closing procedure to ensure that all data populates accurately on the form.
